2025 Rec Youth Summer Wilderness Camp – Week 1

Join us for a week of outdoor adventure for kids ages 7–12! Campers will fish, hike, practice survival and orienteering skills, play outdoor sports, visit the zoo and space museum, tour a fire station, and cool off at the pool. Celebrate Independence Day Weekend with the Run White & Blue 5K Color Run—part of the Run Ruidoso 2025 race series! Join us at 8 AM at Moon Mountain for a fun, family-friendly run with chalk stations, medal prizes, and T-shirt giveaways. $25 entry supports the Lincoln County Food Bank. Join the Ruidoso Grindstone Trail Runs at Wingfield Park on August 23, 2025. Celebrate the 11th anniversary with a Half Marathon Heavy (13.8 miles), 8.5 miles, and 4 miles. Events start at 7:00 AM. Proceeds benefit All-Season Adaptive Sports. Top finishers qualify for the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship. Enjoy commemorative swag, cake, and a post-race party. Register now!
